The Seves Group has recently sold the ceramic valves and pipe components division of Cera System GmbH to the Samson Group, in order to better focus on the development and continued innovation of its two main product divisions: power insulators and glass blocks.

Cera System merged with the American manufacturer Porcelain Products in 2001 to become the PPC Group, which was then acquired by Seves in 2007.
