SEVES will supply 400 kN toughened glass insulators for the 1800 km long Biswanath Chariyali-Agra line 800kV UHVDC transmission line to Power Grid Corporation of India PGCIL.

The bipole Biswanath Chariyali-Agra running from Assam to Uttar Pradesh is part of Power Grid's northeast to northern/western interconnector-I project that will help transfer surplus power from the  northeastern region to the power-deficient northern and western regions.  The line will handle capacity of 6,000 MW.
