| 06/22/2010 - SEVES expand its technical resources servicing utilities in their Ultra High Voltage challenges |
In order to assist major utilities in the assessment of the performance of fully equipped string designs for Ultra High Voltage transmission lines, SEVES has completed the installation of a new vibration station capable to handle Ultra High Voltage strings in replacement of existing equipment limited to 500kV.
This newly installed test station has a capacity of holding multiple suspension and tension strings up to 12m in length for transmission lines such as 800 kV DC or 1000kV AC.
